Shipping Policy

ORDERS FROM OUTSIDE OF THE UK
With regret, we DO NOT offer orders for shipping outside of the UK.  We have experienced too many frustrations with navigating the issues and delays associated with customs, exports and delivery, which have been outside of our control. Apologies! 

We recommend searching for your local APP verified jewellery distributor in your native country. Or drop us a message and we will recommend someone.

FREE DELIVERY
We offer FREE tracked & signed delivery on UK orders of £150 and over.  Our postage rates are detailed below and include whether they are tracked or require a signature upon delivery: 

  • Tracked & Signed Delivery - £8.50.  Full tracking is available from collection to delivery for peace of mind.  Items are usually delivered within 24 hours of posting (my shipping days are Wednesday to Friday).  Orders made on Friday for this service will be sent for guaranteed arrival on Monday.  Most of the time, Royal Mail delivers on a Saturday. Orders made on a Saturday-Tuesday will be shipped on the following Wednesday.  A signature is required at the destination

DELIVERY TIMES
All orders made before 2 pm Wednesday to Friday (UK time), are sent the same day (unless this falls on a UK Bank Holiday when the postal service is unavailable). This excludes pre-order jewellery - fulfilment on this will be detailed on the product page.

Upon fulfilment and shipping, notification emails are sent out to the customer to confirm that the item has been dispatched.  On occasion, these emails may be filtered into Junk Mail.

Delivery time depends on the service selected at checkout and customer location. For example, Special DElivery post should arrive within 1 working days of dispatch, usually before 1pm.

Please note: Weekends and public holidays such as Easter, Christmas and Bank Holidays will affect the estimated delivery times!

TRACKING & LOST ORDERS
StockoThePiercer always sends orders via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Royal Mail is then responsible for any loss during delivery. Unfortunately, Royal Mail does not consider post to be lost until the following timescales past the estimated arrival; 7 working days for UK post. 

As an example, if the order was sent via Special Delivery, the scheduled delivery date would be the next working day from fulfilment.  Seven working days on from this date would be when Royal Mail would class the order lost.  Up until this time, the order could still be delivered albeit delayed.  StockoThePiercer is unable to claim against Royal Mail for losses until this final and confirmed "lost" date.  

During this time, we recommend checking the Tracking link sent in the order email notifications regularly.

If an order has still not arrived after this time, please contact us through email [email protected] with your Order Number. This is shown on your email receipt and subsequent notifications.  Undelivered/lost orders will be replaced or compensated.

PLEASE NOTE: missing items must be acknowledged and reported to us within 30 days of ordering.  If this time has passed, Royal Mail is not able to investigate the whereabouts of the missing order. 

UNDELIVERED ITEMS
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the postal address is complete and correct.  StockoThePiercer cannot accept any responsibility if the order is returned labelled "address incomplete" by Royal Mail.  If this does occur, there will be an additional cost for postage to send out again.  If the customer requests a refund this will be for the order value only (excluding postage and packing cost).

When an item is undelivered and returned to the customer's nearby sorting office, it is the customer's responsibility to collect the order within the allocated time frame as detailed on the notice posted by Royal Mail.  Should this order be uncollected and marked as "Retention exceeded - Returned to Sender", the delivery cost initially paid at order, will not be refunded.
